Our signature service is a multi-step process designed for beauty, health, and comfort:

1. Every session starts with a chat. We discuss your preferred style, your dog’s behaviour, and any "trouble spots" like matting or skin sensitivities.
 
2. The Bath & Deep Clean Using premium shampoos tailored to your dog’s coat, we perform a double-cleansing wash. This removes the York mud from those long walks and nourishes the skin.
 
3. The Fluff Dry - we never use cage dryers. Your dog is hand-dried using specialised high-velocity and stand dryers, ensuring a high-volume, "boutique" finish while keeping them warm and relaxed.
 
4. Precision Styling using a mix of professional scissoring, thinning, and clipping, we craft the look you’ve asked for. From sharp Westie heads to flowing Spaniel feathers, the detail is in the finish.
 
5. The Essential Hygiene "Tidy" A Full Groom isn't complete without the details:
 
  • Paw Pad Clearing: Trimming the "fluff" between pads to prevent slipping and trapped grit.
  • Sanitary Trim: For health and cleanliness.
  • Eye & Ear Care: Cleaning the "tear tracks" and ensuring ears are fresh and clear.
  • Nail Clipping: Precision trimming for a comfortable "click-free" walk.

At what age should my puppy have their first groom?

I recommend bringing your little one in as soon as they’ve had their second set of vaccinations (usually around 12–14 weeks). my Puppy Introduction is all about "paws-itive" associations—we keep it short and sweet with lots of cuddles so they learn that the groomers is a fun place to be, not a scary one

How long does a full groom take at Fluffs?

On average, a Full Dog Groom takes between 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pup’s coat condition and size. We take our time to ensure every dog feels relaxed and pampered. We’ll give you a "heads up" text about 15 minutes before your best friend is ready for their red-carpet exit

Does hand stripping hurt my dog?

Not at all! When a coat is "blown" (ready to come out), hand stripping is a painless, natural process. It’s actually the best way to maintain the wire-hair texture and deep color for breeds like Terriers. I have been expertly trained to do this gently, ensuring your pup stays comfortable throughout the session

What is your appointment & cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. This allows me to offer the slot to a pup on our waiting list. Late cancellations or "no-shows" will be subject to a fee.
